DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke men's tennis team was one of 52 schools that received the ITA All-Academic Team Award. In addition five Blue Devils were named ITA Scholar Athletes.
Duke was the only ACC school among the 52 that received the team award based on an overall team GPA of 3.2 or higher. It marks the fifth straight year that the Blue Devils have earned the award.
Individuals must have a 3.5 GPA or higher for the academic year. Blue Devils selected as ITA Scholar Athletes include Dylan Arnould, Aaron Carpenter, Kiril Dimitrov, David Lue and Jared Pinsky. Duke has had at least five players to achieve the academic honor in each of the past four seasons.
Arnould and Dimitrov each were named ITA Scholar Athletes for the third time. Lue and Pinsky have each received the honor two times.
