CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Duke men's tennis opened its fall season with a successful trip to the Orange and Blue Classic. The Blue Devils earned four singles victories and four doubles triumphs during the three-day event.

Junior Saahith Jayaraman won his three singles matches. Freshman Jakub Smejcky got his first swings as a Blue Devil and went 1-1 in singles and doubles.

Sophomore Dylan Long dropped his three singles matches, but earned a double win with Smejcky. Jayaraman and freshman Sebastian Eie paried together for three doubles matches over the tournament.

Duke returns to action Sept. 19 at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. and the UNCW Fall Invitational Sept. 18-20.
