CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 13 Duke men's tennis registered its first ACC win of the year following a 6-1 victory over Boston College on Saturday night at the Murr Tennis Center.

The Blue Devils improve to 9-5 and 1-0 in ACC play, while the Eagles drop to 4-4 and 0-2, respectively.

Jake Krug earned his second match-clinching victory of the year after he bested Will Kasten on court five in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.

How It Happened
- Faris Khan and Connor Krug began doubles action with a 6-3 win on court three over Will Kasten and Bennett Turner. Unfortunately, the designated home team posted consecutive wins on court one and two, respectively, to register the doubles point. No. 28 Juan Jose Bianchi and Jake Vassel defeated No. 21 Michael Heller and Andrew Zhang, 7-5, before Anesh Jayasundera and Caleb Saltz beat Garrett Johns and Alexander Visser in tiebreak fashion 7-6 (2).
- Despite dropping the doubles point, Duke rebounded for straight set victories in five of the six singles matches to earn the overall win.
- Andrew Dale was the first to finish when he recorded 6-1, 6-2 wins over Connor McDonald on court six.
- Connor Krug and Alexander Visser followed suit with 6-2, 6-1 and 6-2, 6-4 victories over Vassel and Mai Gao on court three and four, respectively, to extend the Blue Devils' lead to 3-1.
- Jake Krug then clinched the match on court five when he beat Kastens for his eighth dual win of the year.
- No. 64 Johns continued the momentum for Duke with 6-2, 6-4 wins over Bianchi on the top court.
- Zhang then closed out the match with a three-set come-from-behind win over Saltz on court two. The Bloomfield Hills, Mich., native dropped the first set 6-3 but bounced back for 6-3, 1-0 (10-3) victories in the final two frames to secure the win.
