CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Duke men's tennis opened its fall season with a successful trip to the Orange and Blue Classic. The Blue Devils earned eight singles victories and four doubles triumphs during the three-day event, highlighted by an unbeaten Saturday.
Freshman
Dylan Long got in his first swings as a Blue Devil and won his first four matches, taking two in singles and two in doubles, before finishing the weekend with a combined 5-1 mark. Long capped his debut 3-0 in singles. Â
Senior
Teddy Truwit also turned in a flawless singles weekend, winning both his matches. Truwit and junior
Alexander Visser along with Long and senior
Gerard Planelles Ripoll each went 2-1 paired in doubles action.Â

ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla.
