Six Earn ITA Scholar-Athlete Recognition

DURHAM, N.C. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its 2026 Scholar-Athletes with six Blue Devils earning individual honors. Duke was also recognized as a 2026 ITA All-Academic Team.

Saahith Jayaraman, Dylan Long, Gerard Planelles Ripoll, Pedro Rodenas, Teddy Truwit and Cooper Williams represented the Blue Devils. Truwit was recognized for the fourth time in his career while Jayaraman, Planelles Ripoll and Rodenas each received the honor for the second time.

The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). All varsity letterwinners were factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.

To earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
