QUOTES
- "It was definitely one of my biggest wins I would say of my career. You know Mac [Church], he's tough and hats off to him. He's a tough guy. He has been around for a while and we're going to see each other again. I now have to get ready for ACCs, because I know he's going to want that one back. But yeah, it was a great match tonight. I knew it was going to be a stingy, tough one, but I was prepared to battle tonight. We just have to keep it rolling. And I think as a team, we looked pretty good, did very well. We fought hard. You know, they're a tough team. As a team, myself, coaches, staff, you know, we just have to get back in the room and make the adjustments and just keep it rolling from here." – Redshirt Freshman Aidan Wallace on the ranked win
- "I was very confident, because I feel like I had the momentum. I was kind of pushing the pace a lot and so was he. We were both two guys just wanting to score. He is tough on his feet, but I knew going into overtime that was definitely a win for me to kind of keep the match going. And I was just looking to score and just be smart, not trying to score and be sloppy. Just be very stingy and pick the right attack, and he actually got to my legs, but I stayed calm, stayed in the good position, and just kept moving from there and was able to finish strong at get the takedown."– Redshirt Freshman Aidan Wallace on getting the takedown in overtime to win
