The Opening Faceoff
- No. 25 Duke heads to Baltimore, Md., to face the No. 10 Johns Hopkins Blue Jays for its first road game of the 2025 season. The two teams meet for the 11th time in series history, with the Blue Devils owning an 8-2 record. The last time the two teams faced off was during the 2024 season, when Johns Hopkins posted a 17-13 win at Koskinen Stadium.
- Duke opened its 2025 season at home with two wins against Elon and High Point last weekend. In the 16-7 win over Elon and the 17-6 win over High Point, the Blue Devils had 10 different scorers in each game.
- The Blue Devils ranked No. 25 in the first Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) poll, along with a No. 19 ranking by Inside Lacrosse. Seven other ACC schools were also ranked: Boston College (1), North Carolina (3), Syracuse (6), Virginia (8), Notre Dame (11), Stanford (15) and Clemson (20).
- Following this weekend, Duke stays on the road for its ACC opener on Saturday, Feb. 22, against No. 1 Boston College.
