DURHAM, N.C. – Duke men's golf continues its fall schedule Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 5-6, when the Blue Devils compete in the seventh edition of the Hamptons Intercollegiate at Maidstone Club in East Hampton, New York.
Hosted by Loyola University Maryland, the 54-hole tournament will be contested on Maidstone Club's 6,742-yard layout. Duke is joined in the 12-team field by Loyola Maryland, Florida, Florida State, Georgetown, Harvard, Ole Miss, Princeton, Rutgers, Utah, Wake Forest and Yale.
The Blue Devils, under the direction of second-year head coach
Bob Heintz, enter their third tournament of the fall after opening the 2026-27 campaign with consecutive top-five finishes. Duke placed fifth at the Sahalee Players Championship, before finishing fourth at the Rod Myers Invitational in its most recent outing.
Play begins Monday morning with the first groups teeing off at 7:35 a.m. Duke will start from hole No. 1, with teams playing continuously for 36 holes on the opening day. The final round begins Tuesday at 7:35 a.m.
Duke's five-player lineup consists of
Carson Looney,
Ollie Mukherjee,
Bryan Kim,
Sam Mukherjee and
Clark Mason.
Looney and
Ollie Mukherjee enter the week tied for the team lead with a 72.40 stroke average through five rounds. Looney owns Duke's best individual finish of the fall, placing eighth at the Sahalee Players Championship with a 3-over 219, while Mukherjee tied for ninth at Sahalee at 4-over 220. Mukherjee leads the Blue Devils with 16 birdies, while Looney has a team-best two eagles through the first two events.
Kim paced Duke in its most recent competition, tying for 14th at the Rod Myers Invitational with a 3-under 141. The senior carded a 4-under 68 in the second round as the Blue Devils posted a 7-under 281, their lowest team round of the season.
Sam Mukherjee has competed in each of Duke's first two events and carries a 74.40 scoring average into the Hamptons Intercollegiate. He tied for 23rd at the Rod Myers Invitational. Mason, a freshman, also makes his third consecutive appearance in the Duke lineup. He shot a 4-under 68 in the second round of the Rod Myers Invitational and has recorded 15 birdies through his first five collegiate rounds.
