William Love has been named ACC Men's Golfer of the Month for March, following a consistent and impactful stretch across three tournaments for the Blue Devils.
A native of Atlanta, Love delivered par-or-better scores in all nine rounds during the month, including seven rounds under par. He combined for a 27-under-par total with a 68.7 stroke average, leading Duke in each of its three events.
Love opened March with a runner-up finish at The Hayt Collegiate, carding a 10-under-par 206 (66-72-68) at Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. His effort included a season-best 6-under 66 in the opening round and marked his fifth career collegiate top-five finish. He finished ahead of eight top-20 ranked golfers in the 16-team field, which featured eight top-25 programs.
At the Valspar Collegiate Invitational in Palm City, Florida, Love posted a ninth-place finish with a three-round total of 202 (-11), highlighted by rounds of 68-66-68. His score represented his lowest 54-hole total of the season and second-best of his career. Love recorded a pair of eagles and tied for the tournament lead in par-5 scoring at 9-under, while finishing ahead of 11 top-25 ranked golfers in a field that included 10 nationally ranked teams.
Love closed the month by earning co-medalist honors at the UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate in Wilmington. He fired a 6-under-par 210 (67-72-71) to claim his second career medalist honor and first since February 2023, helping Duke to a second-place team finish. Love opened the tournament with a 5-under 67 and added a steady final-round 71 to secure the title.
The ACC also recognized Tyler Weaver of Florida State as the co-recipient of the monthly conference honor.
