DURHAM, N.C. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's Tennis Teams with sophomore

CSC recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible for Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be a starter or key reserve, have at least sophomore academic standing at their current institution and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50.
Jayaraman played a prominent role in the Duke lineup, finishing with a 12-14Â singles record, including a 9-10 dual match ledger with a 3-6 mark in conference matches. He played some of his best singles down the stretch, going 4-2 in his final six decisions. An El Dorado Hills, California, product, Jayaraman turned in a strong start to the outdoor season with a 4-2 stretch, including a 6-4 6-2 victory against Stanford's Mark Krupkin. At the ACC Championship, Jayaraman clinched victories against Boston College and Miami to send Duke to the quarterfinals. Jayaraman owns a 3.711 GPA as a political science major with a minor in history.Â
Planelles Ripoll played his best tennis at the end of his career. He earned a high ranking of No. 78 in singles and was ranked for six weeks. He concluded the year with a 15-8 singles record, including a 13-7 mark in dual matches and a 6-3 ledger in ACC competition. In doubles, he posted an 8-14 mark in dual matches. After a 2-4 start to dual action in singles during the indoor season, he played to a 11-3 mark once competition shifted outside. A native of Alicante, Spain, Planelles Ripoll did not lose a match in the final five weeks of competition, going 6-0 in April and May. He helped Duke to an epic 4-3 comeback win at Florida State with a 2-6, 6-1, 7-6 (5) victory against No. 93 Erik Schiessl. On Senior Day, he gave the Blue Devils a 3-1 lead against North Carolina with a 6-3, 6-4 triumph over No. 125 Ian Mayew. Planelles Ripoll holds a 3.737 GPA as a sociology major with a minor in psychology and certificate in markets and management studies.Â
Rodenas earned an All-ACC Singles Second Team selection for the fourth time in his career in 2025-26 and added All-ACC Doubles First Team accolades for the third time. He became the 17th member of Duke's 100 win club, finishing his career with 100 singles triumphs. The anchor at the top of the Duke lineup, Rodenas played to a 17-5 record in dual matches, and an 8-3 record in ACC competition. Of his three singles regular-season setbacks, two were to the No. 1 and No. 2 ranked players nationally. Rodneas also posted a 16-6 doubles record, all on court one, and was 7-2 in ACC doubles. Rodenas helped Duke to a 4-0 sweep of No. 19 NC State with a 6-4, 6-4 triumph against No. 17 Martin Borisiouk. A Madrid, Spain, product, Rodenas earned career win No. 100 against Boston College in the first round of the ACC Championship with a 6-2, 6-0 win against Matthew Carioscia. In doubles, Rodenas paired with
Cooper Williams primarily as the two finished 16-4 and 7-0 in ACC play and topped out at No. 10 in the ITA rankings. Rodenas, a sociology major, tallied a 3.544 GPA and added a certificate in markets and management studies.Â
Truwit played to a 7-10 overall singles record, including a 4-5 dual match mark and 1-3 ACC ledger. In doubles, he finished 9-14 in dual competition. He picked up his ACC singles victory with a 6-0, 6-4 triumph versus Virginia's Stiles Brockett. Truwit helped the Blue Devils secure the doubles point at the ITA Kickoff Weekend championship match against No. 11 Texas A&M with a 6-4 victory with
Alexander Visser on court three. Truwit also paired with Visser for a 6-3 win against No. 36 Mark Krupkin and Hudson Rivera of Stanford. Truwit ended the year with a 6-3 victory against Jack McCarthy and Connor Church of Southern California in the NCAA Team Championship. Truwit owns a 3.955 GPA as an economics major with a minor in history.Â
