Travers Earns TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week Accolades

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women's soccer sophomore defender Jocelyn Travers has been named to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week, as announced Tuesday.

Travers collected a goal and helped lead the Duke defense to allowing only one goal in two matches played over the past week. A native of Santa Cruz, California, Travers played the entire 90 minutes in both contests against No. 15 Notre Dame and Pittsburgh.

In Thursday's contest with the Irish, Travers registered the game-tying goal in the second half and helped the Blue Devils come away with a 1-1 draw. The goal was her first of the season and second of her collegiate career.

Travers then helped guide the Duke defense to its fourth clean sheet of the season on the road at Pittsburgh Sunday.

It marked the second time in her short career Travers has earned TopDrawerSoccer honors as she was also selected to the Team of the Week in 2025 as a freshman.

Sixth-ranked Duke (6-1-3) returns home to host California Saturday, Oct. 3, at 5 p.m., live on ACC Network Extra.
