Atas, Senior Duo Set for All-American Championships

TULSA, OKLA. - Seniors Joey Atas and Peter Rodrigues will be in action on Thursday in the main draw of the 2006 Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships, hosted by the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Okla. Rodrigues is set to compete in the singles bracket, and will combine with Atas to compete in the doubles bracket.
Singles play will begin first on Thursday, with Rodrigues, the 44th-ranked player in the country, set to meet 7th-ranked Arnau Brugues of Tulsa at 9:30 a.m. CT (12:30 p.m. ET).
Rodrigues and Atas, who combine to form the 16th-ranked doubles team in the nation, will meet the No. 1-ranked duo of Kevin Anderson and Ryan Rowe of Illinois. The match is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. CT (7:30 p.m. ET).
The Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships offer the first national singles and doubles titles of the 2006-07 collegiate tennis season, and are followed by the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships in November and the season-ending NCAA Championships in May.
