DURHAM, N.C. – Sophomores Taylor Williams and Mailinh Godschall were tabbed to the 2025 Academic All-District® Volleyball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Williams, a native of Mountain View, California, has attained a 3.555 grade point average and is currently undeclared in her major, exploring the topic of political science. Williams led the team with 331 kills and 33 aces this season. She logged nine double-doubles throughout the year and surpassed the 500-career kill milestone. Defensively, she earned 271 digs and 43 total blocks.
Godschall, who is declaring as an economics major in the spring, registered a 3.925 GPA. A product of Ellicott City, Maryland, the libero garnered a total of 451 digs throughout the season, finishing second in the conference with an average of 4.03 gets per set. Along with her defensive efforts, she also dished out 138 assists and notched 30 aces.
