CARLSBAD, Calif. - Duke men's golf sophomore
Bryan Kim finished outside the individual cut line on Sunday, May 25, rounding out his appearance at the 2025 NCAA Championships. Kim carded a 1-over, 73, to post his best round of the event and finish at 6-over, 222, for the 54 holes of play.
HOW IT HAPPENED: ROUND THREEÂ
- Bryan Kim played in the afternoon wave for the third round, teeing off of No. 10. Starting on a par-5, Kim promptly got into red figures with a short birdie putt.
- After giving the stroke back with a bogey on No. 11, Kim steadied himself with three consecutive pars before logging a birdie on the challenging par-4 15th for the second day in a row.
- Following a bogey on No. 18, Kim turned to the front-nine at even-par. The Brookeville, Md., native caught fire over his next five holes, starting with a 10-foot birdie putt on the par-5 second. On holes No. 4 and No. 5, Kim stuffed his approach shots to inside a foot on both holes for tap-in birdies, reaching 3-under for his afternoon.
- An unfortunate bounce off the cart path on the par-5 sixth led to a double-bogey, halting Kim's momentum and he dropped two more shots across his final two holes to finish the round at 1-over, 73.Â
With his finish outside of the top-nine individuals on a non-advancing team, Kim concludes his play at the NCAA Championship and closes his play for the Blue Devils in the 2024-25 season.
