DURHAM, N.C. – Duke cross country will take the starting line for the first time Tuesday morning as the Blue Devils prepare to launch the 2025 season in a tri-meet with in-state foes North Carolina A&T and North Carolina Central Sept. 2 at the Duke Reclamation Pond trail.

MEET INFORMATION:
- The men's 4K race gets the morning's events started at 8:00 a.m., with the women set to take on the 3K course at 8:20 a.m.
- Duke will be represented by 18 athletes at the season opener. On the men's side, Aden Bandukwala, Alberto Campa, Nick Falk, Arthur Graham, Rendon Kuykendall, Declan McDonnell, Will Purnell, Dawson Reeves, Matt Ryan, Charlie Siebert, Jack Stanley and Beck Wittstadt make up the Blue Devil contingent. Lucca Fulkerson, Lindsay Hausman, Ella Johns, Olivia Mason, Stephanie Moss and Grace Ping headline the cohort for the Duke women.
- Final results will be posted on GoDuke.com following the conclusion of both races.

ABOUT THE BLUE DEVILS:
- Head coach Kevin Jermyn enters his second season back at the helm of Duke cross country and his 16th season with the Blue Devils overall. Jermyn, who was handed the reigns in July 2024, is currently in his second stint at Duke after previously serving as the head women's cross country coach and associate head track and field coach from 2000 to 2014.
- Duke returns 28 athletes – 13 women and 15 men – from its 2024 squad, including NCAA Southeast Regional top-50 finishers Ryan Banko, Alden Keller and Stanley. Stanley and Keller finished 41st and 48th, respectively, in the men's 10K race at the regional meet, with Banko placing 52nd en route to assisting the men's team to a ninth-place finish.
- In addition to the returners, the Blue Devils welcome 17 newcomers into the fold – the group comprised of six freshmen, one sophomore and 10 graduate students.
- Campa, Fulkerson, Graham, Mason, McDonnell, Ping and Purnell are all set to make their Duke debuts Tuesday morning. The quartet of Bandukwala, Reeves, Ryan and Moss – members of the Blue Devils' track and field team – will also make their cross country debuts.

UP NEXT:
The Blue Devils travel to Columbia, Missouri to take part in the Gans Creek Classic Sept. 26 at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course. The morning opens with the men's 8K Division I race at 8 a.m., followed by the Women's 6K Division I race at 8:45 a.m.
