MARANA, Ariz. – Sophomore
Ollie Mukherjee carded a career-low round Tuesday to help lead Duke through the second day of the Marana Regional of the 2026 NCAA Men's Golf Championship at The Gallery Golf Club, as the Blue Devils remain in fifth place heading into Wednesday's final round.

Mukherjee improved by seven strokes from Monday's opening round to post a 4-under-par 68 Tuesday. He opened the second round with three straight birdies and ended his day with a birdie on the ninth hole, finishing with six birdies and 11 pars.

Junior
Bryan Kim also fired a 4-under-par 68 Tuesday, breaking Duke's single-season record with his 17th round in the 60s.

Seniors
Ethan Evans and
Daniel Choi each secured even-par rounds of 72, bringing Duke's Tuesday total to 280 (-8).

Duke's two-round total of 562 (-14) is good for fifth place, two strokes ahead of sixth place Alabama (564) and four strokes behind fourth place LSU (558). Tournament host Arizona leads the field at 35-under-par after posting a 24-under 264 Tuesday. Oklahoma State sits in second place at 551 (-25), followed by third place Arkansas State (555).

The top five teams and the low individual not on an advancing team qualify for the NCAA Championship, scheduled for May 29-June 3 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.

On the individual leaderboard, Duke senior
William Love is tied for ninth place at 6-under-par 138, powered by his opening round 65 (-7). Kim moved to a tie for 17th place (72-68=140, -4), Evans (71-72=143, -1) and Mukherjee (75-68=143, -1) are tied for 27th, while Choi is tied for 39th at 146 (74-72).

- Ollie Mukherjee achieved a career-low 4-under-par 68 Tuesday, marking his second career round in the 60s. His previous low was a 2-under-par 69 at the UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate during his freshman season.
- Bryan Kim's 4-under-par 68 marked his 17th round in the 60s this season, breaking Alex Smalley's previous Duke single-season record of 16 set during the 2018-19 campaign.
- Duke recorded its 24th under-par round of the season Tuesday, extending the program single-season record. The 2022-23 Blue Devils collected 21 under-par rounds.
- The Gallery Golf Club is located northwest of Tucson and plays to a par of 72 at 7,317 yards.
- Duke is making its 11th consecutive and 34th overall NCAA Regional appearance, as well as its first under head coach Bob Heintz.
- The 14-team regional field includes five squads ranked in the top 30 in the latest Scoreboard powered by Clippd team rankings: No. 5 Oklahoma State, No. 8 LSU, No. 18 Arizona, No. 20 Alabama and No. 29 Duke.
- The Marana Regional is one of six 54-hole regional tournaments held across the country on May 18-20. Following 54 holes of stroke play, the top-five teams and the low individual on a non-advancing team move on to compete in the NCAA Championship, held at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California, on May 29-June 3.
