Zane Jackson joined the Duke track & and field and cross country program as an assistant coach in May 2026.Â
Jackson brings six years of collegiate experience as a distance runner, having competed for current Duke cross country head coach Kevin Jermyn at Elon from 2019-2024. During his time with the Phoenix, Jackson was an all-conference performer and graduated with his bachelor's degree in exercise science. Jackson competed for St. Mary’s College of California in 2024-2025 and earned his master's degree in kinesiology.
Off the track, Jackson enjoys running and hiking on the Eno River trails and is currently exploring how meditation can enhance athletic performance.
