Stone Posts Win at UNC Fall Invitational

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Duke junior Alex Stone was in action on Friday at the UNC Fall Invitational, hosted by the University of North Carolina, and came away with a two-set victory to advance to round two of the tournament.
In Flight A-2 singles action, Stone squared off against Felix Insaurralde of ETSU and posted a 6-4, 6-3 victory to advance to the second round, held on Saturday. The New York native is set to meet Pedro Campos of USC at 9 a.m.
The UNC Fall Invitational field includes players from 17 schools. The brackets include six singles flights and three doubles flights. Presented by One-A-Day Vitamins, the Invitational runs through Oct. 1.
