DURHAM, N.C. – Duke cross country is back in action this weekend with the Blue Devils featuring a split squad competing at two meets. The majority of Duke's roster will head to the Madison, Wisconsin for the prestigious Nuttycombe Invitational (Oct. 17), while five Blue Devil men prepare to race at the Roanoke Invitational (Oct. 18) in Roanoke, Virginia. MEET INFORMATION:
- The Nuttycombe Invitational will feature four races and take place at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course.
- Friday morning opens with the women's 6K (11:30 a.m.) and men's 8K (12:10 p.m.) 'B' races. The women's 6K Championship (12:50 p.m.) and men's 8K Championship (1:30 p.m.) round out the day of competition. All times listed are Eastern.
- The Blue Devils will be represented by 24 student-athletes in Wisconsin. Jette Beermann, Anna Callahan, Poppy Craig-McFeely, Audrey DaDamio, Lucca Fulkerson, Victoria Garces, Grace Geyer, Katie Hamilton, Caroline Hood, Ella Johns, Olivia Mason and Stephanie Moss comprise the Blue Devils' women's contingent.
- On the men's side, Duke will be represented by Aden Bandukwala, Nick Falk, Eli Fitchen-Young, Arthur Graham, Rendon Kuykendall, Declan McDonnell, Will Purnell, Matt Ryan, Charlie Siebert, Jack Stanley, Luke Thompson and Beck Wittstadt.

- Over in Roanoke, Alberto Campa, Jackson Heidesch, Sean Morello, Riley Newport and Dawson Reeves will take the starting line for the Blue Devils Saturday at 10:15 a.m. Results will be available HERE.

LAST TIME OUT:
- The Blue Devil women turned in a strong performance in the women's 6K Gold Invitational to headline a lively morning of racing for Duke cross country Friday at the Gans Creek Classic.
- DaDamio, Garces and Moss spearheaded the charge as each individual finished among the top 50 of the women's field, while the team placed 11th out of the 31 team field with 320 points.
- Moss led the charge for the Duke women on the 6K course, turning in a time of 19:56.6 to place 25th overall. DaDamio was next Blue Devil to cross the finish line with a time of 20:08.7 and Garces clocked 20:17.6, catapulting 20 spots up the leaderboard over the final 1,000 meters to check in at 47th.
- Beermann and Craig-McFeely rounded out the top-five Duke finishers in the 6K Gold Invitational with times of 20:47.6 and 21:00.7, respectively.
- Ryan paced the efforts for the Duke men in the 8K Gold Invitational courtesy of a time of 23:50.3. Purnell (23:57.1), Thompson (24:05.1), Falk (24:23.1) and McDonnell (24:30.4) rounded out the top performers for the Blue Devils. The Duke men finished 27th in the team standings with 684 points.

UP NEXT:
Duke turns its attention to postseason competition, starting with the ACC Cross Country Championships in Louisville, Kentucky. The meet will take place Oct. 31 at Sawyer State Park.
