DURHAM, N.C. – Duke dives back into action this weekend, with the Blue Devil diving squad gearing up for the Georgia Tech Diving Invitational Nov. 13-15 at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
In addition to the host Yellow Jackets, the Blue Devils will compete alongside Alabama, Auburn, East Carolina, Florida State and Virginia Tech. Diving action is slated to begin each day at 11 a.m. ET with all three days of the meet streaming on ACC Network Extra.
DUKE NOTABLES & LAST TIME OUT:
- The Duke women are ranked No. 19 in the CSCAA Top 25 rankings for October.
- Sophomore Keira Lu earned her third ACC Women's Diver of the Week honor after securing a pair of first-place finishes in Duke's meet at Northwestern this past weekend.
- Lu tallied a score of 330.0 in the 3-meter dive and capped her weekend with a 303.75 in the 1-meter dive.
- The 19th-ranked Duke women's swimming and diving team claimed a 192-142 victory over Northwestern Saturday afternoon inside the Norris Aquatics Center, improving to 2-0 all-time against the Wildcats.
- Individually, seniors Kaelyn Gridley and Tatum Wall and junior Ali Pfaff led the charge for the visitors. Wall notched a team-best six first-place finishes, with Pfaff and Gridley earning five and four wins, respectively.
- As a team, the Blue Devil women set seven pool records en route to the victory – 50 free, 100 free, 100 back, 200 back, 400 free relay, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay.
- On the men's side, Northwestern defeated Duke, 216-118. The Blue Devil efforts for the men were paced by event wins from freshmen Anderson Kopp (1,000 free) and Raphael Wang (200 breast) and junior Jack Smith (100 breast).
- Kopp slotted himself No. 4 all-time on the program records, while Wang moved up to No. 6 all-time.

Duke will make the short trip up Tobacco Road to Raleigh, where the Blue Devils will compete at the Wolfpack Elite Invitational Nov. 20-21 inside the Willis R. Casey Aquatic Center.
