LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Freshman
Saahith Jayaraman secured the final point in No. 11 Duke's 4-2 win at Louisville Sunday afternoon by clinching his match in straight sets on court six (6-4, 7-5). The Blue Devils remain perfect in ACC play at 4-0 and improve to 11-3 overall.

Connor Krug staged a comeback on two, winning four straight games after trailing 4-0 to force a tiebreak, where they secured the match.
In singles play, the Blue Devils sealed the win with straight-set victories from Dugardin, sophomore
Alexander Visser and Jayaraman on courts three through six, respectively.
How It Happened
- The doubles pairing of Dugardin and Planelles Ripoll didn't drop a game and posted a 6-0 win against Miguel Avendano and Natan Rodrigues to clinch the first doubles match for the Blue Devils, on court three.
- Louisville earned a doubles match with a victory over sophomore Cooper Williams and graduate student Andreja Petrovic on court one. Williams and Petrovic had the match tied at 3-3 before Louisville's Kosuke Nakanishi and Andre Steinbach went on a run to clinch the match at 6-4.
- The doubles point was decided with a win from Winegar and Krug at the second spot over Hamza El Amine and Enrique Pena. The Cardinals got the early 4-0 lead, but the Blue Devils fought their way back to tie the match at 4-4. The match retied at 5-5 and 6-6 before it went to the decisive tie break. In tie break, the Duke pairing posted the 7-3 win to give the Blue Devils the early 1-0 lead.
- Louisville tied the match at 1-1 with a victory over Krug on court two. In the first set Krug only won one game. In set two, Cardinals' junior Will Mayew maintained momentum and posted a 6-3 win.
- Dugardin retook the lead 2-1 for the Blue Devils by posting a two-set win on court four against Avendano. In his first set, he only dropped two games and posted a 6-2 win. In his second set, he took the early 4-1 lead before Avendano clinched two straight games. Dugardin closed out his match with posting two straight games (6-4).
- Sophomore Alexander Visser followed suit on court five, securing a straight set win. In set one, he broke a 1-1 tie and went on a five game run to earn the win (6-1). In set two, Visser got the early 3-0 lead. Louisville's El Amine posted three games before Visser closed out the second set 6-3.
- Louisville decreased the Blue Devils' lead to 3-2 with a win on court one over Petrovic. Petrovic battled throughout the first set, but at 5-5 Rodrigues won two games to clinch set one 7-5. In set two, Petrovic only won two games, and the Cardinal clinched the match with a 6-2 win.
- Jayaraman sealed the win for the Blue Devils with a straight-set victory on court six. After falling behind 0-2 in the first set, he went on a four-game run to lead 4-2 and closed out the set 6-4. In the second set, he led 2-1 before Louisville's sophomore Piet Steveker surged ahead 4-2. Jayaraman responded with a four-game streak to go up 5-3. Though Steveker took the next game, Jayaraman secured the match with another two-game run, winning 7-5.
- Planelles Ripoll's match remained unfinished on court three.
