DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke men's tennis team (4-5) opens its outdoor season with a 3:30 p.m., Thursday match against Campbell (2-4) at Ambler Tennis Stadium. The contest will serve as the Blue Devils' final tuneup before ACC play begins.Â
ITA RANKINGS
With new national rankings due out Thursday afternoon, Duke holds at No. 20 as a team. Three Blue Devils and one Duke duo stay in the rankings as well with No. 47Â

Pedro Rodenas. In doubles, Williams and Rodenas are No. 36.
HISTORY WITH CAMPBELL
Duke leads the all-time series with Campbell, 8-0. During the last meeting February 26, 2022, the Blue Devils claimed a 6-1 victory in Durham. Â
SCOUTING THE CAMELS
Senior Thomas Drapeau leads the team with a 2-1 singles mark while sophomore Adi Dagan has played all his matches on the top court. The doubles pair of Dagan and Alex Fragasso has held down court No. 1 for two matches while Drapeau and Max Hamon have been in the second position.
HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
Duke played to a 12-1 home record in the 2025 dual match season and is off to a 3-0 start at home in 2026. The Blue Devils' lone home loss last spring was a 4-3 setback to No. 37 Florida State on March 28.Â
Since the start of the 2023 dual match season, Duke is a combined 41-5 in home competition (.891 winning percentage). The Blue Devils have not lost a home non-conference match since dropping a 4-3 decision to No. 23 Northwestern on February 5, 2023.
VISSER SURPASSES 2025 WIN TOTAL
With a 6-2, 6-4 victory against South Carolina's Atakan Karahan,
Alexander Visser surpassed his dual match win total from the 2024 campaign. Hindered by injuries for most of the campaign, Visser tallied just two dual match wins last spring. He already has three in 2026.Â
Visser also owns three doubles wins and had played just two dual match doubles contests in his career entering this spring.Â
UP NEXT
